Shankar went on to share her pride at being nominated for two Grammy awards this year, bringing her total nominations to an impressive 11.
Her latest album, Ch II: How Dark It Is Before Dawn, and her featured role on Jacob Collier’s A Rock Somewhere have earned Shankar Grammy nominations in the categories of Best Global Music Album and Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, respectively. This marks a major milestone in her illustrious career, with Shankar expressing her gratitude for the recognition. “I’m also proud to be nominated this year for my latest album and my featuring role on Jacob Collier’s album—my 10th and 11th Grammy nominations respectively!”
