New Delhi [India], November 22: Sylvie Bermann, President of the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE), highlighted the strength of India’s nuclear supply chain, calling it a valuable resource for the global nuclear industry. She expressed her enthusiasm for India’s active participation in the World Nuclear Exhibition 2025.

During her visit to India, Bermann toured key industrial sites, including Godrej, Hazira in Gujarat, and NTPC, and praised their advanced capabilities. “As president of the world’s largest nuclear exhibition, I’m eager to see India play a prominent role in 2025. At our last event, we welcomed 88 nationalities, 24,000 visitors, and 800 exhibitors. We expect a 20% increase in these numbers for 2025. India’s involvement will not only showcase its exceptional nuclear expertise but also enhance the global reach of the exhibition,” Bermann stated.

She also emphasized the global importance of India’s nuclear supply chain. “India’s industrial facilities, such as those at Godrej and Hazira in Gujarat with their ultra-heavy equipment, are remarkable. My visits to NTPC and other facilities confirmed the exceptional quality and potential of India’s nuclear sector. Participating in WNE will enable Indian companies to network with international players, demonstrating their capabilities on a global stage. It’s an excellent opportunity for both India and the wider nuclear industry,” she added.

The fifth edition of the World Nuclear Exhibition, hosted by GIFEN (the French Nuclear Industry Association) and RX France, took place in Paris from November 28 to November 30, 2023. With over 650 exhibitors and 20,000 attendees from more than 76 countries, the event is recognized as a premier platform for the civil nuclear sector. National pavilions from 17 leading countries, including China, Canada, South Korea, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and France, featured prominently.

The World Nuclear Exhibition 2025 is set to run from November 4 to November 6 in Paris, France, and is anticipated to be the largest and most impactful edition yet.
