The two officials held discussions aimed at strengthening the Navy-to-Navy partnership through enhanced operational interactions, joint training exercises, and maritime security cooperation. They also explored avenues for increasing interoperability and capacity-building between the Indian and Indonesian navies.

An Indian Navy spokesperson noted that the discussions focused on advancing the shared vision of India-Indonesia Maritime Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. “Avenues for enhancing interoperability and capacity-building were also deliberated during the meeting,” the spokesperson added.
