<p><strong>Tezpur (Assam), December 14:</strong> The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully hosted its annual <em>Rajbhasha Sangoshthi</em> under the theme “Viksit Bharat Mein Raksha Prodyogiki Ka Yogdan” at Tezpur, Assam. The two-day event, held from December 12-13, was organised by the Tezpur-based Defence Research Laboratory (DRL) in collaboration with DPARO&amp;M, DRDO HQ Delhi.</p>



<p>Over 80 participants from various DRDO laboratories across India attended the conference, presenting scientific findings in Hindi. The programme aimed to promote scientific discourse in the national language and encourage the dissemination of knowledge about the role of defence technology in building a <em>Viksit Bharat</em> (Developed India).</p>



<p>The inaugural session was graced by Professor Shambhu Nath Singh, Vice Chancellor of Tezpur University, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the significance of Hindi in scientific communication and national integration. Other esteemed guests included Dr. Sunil Sharma, Director, DPARO&amp;M, DRDO HQ; Arun Chaudhary, Director, DIITM, DRDO HQ; and Brig Sujit Upadhyay, Brig EME 4 Corps.</p>



<p>Dr. DV Kamboj, Director DRL, delivered the welcome address, underscoring the importance of using Hindi for writing scientific articles. He encouraged the participants to continue promoting Hindi in their academic and professional work. Throughout the event, distinguished speakers, including eminent scientists and DRDO representatives, discussed various aspects of defence technology and its role in realizing a developed India. Faculty members from Tezpur University also delivered lectures during the programme.</p>



<p>The event concluded on December 13 with a valedictory function. Dr. PK Bora, Director, NERIWALM, Tezpur, presided as the Chief Guest and highlighted the crucial role of Hindi in scientific communication. KC Vikram, DIG SSB, attended as Guest of Honour, emphasizing the integration of Hindi to advance defence technology and foster scientific collaboration in the country.</p>



<p>This annual congregation not only reinforced the role of Hindi in scientific discourse but also celebrated the advancements in defence technology contributing to India&#8217;s vision of becoming a developed nation.</p>

<p><strong>New Delhi , December 7 :</strong> Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Life Insurance Corporation of India&#8217;s (LIC) <em>Bima Sakhi Yojana</em> this Monday. The event will take place in Haryana&#8217;s Panipat, according to an official statement from the state-owned insurer.</p>



<p>The <em>Bima Sakhi Yojana</em> aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of empowering women for a <em>Viksit Bharat</em> (Developed India).
